Hi! My name is Joel. I am a rising sophomore majoring in biomedical sciences at the St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I joined this lab because I am interested in oncology. Through Dr. Agarwal's lab, I was able to learn beyond the curriculum and solidify my intention to pursue a professional career in oncology.

Aashish V. Patel

Hi! My name is Aashish Patel, I am currently a Junior majoring in Biology at St John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I joined Dr. Agarwal’s lab to gain practical knowledge and learn different lab techniques. The aspect of research I find fascinating is the effort one puts into knowing about the slightest of the slightest details.

Zoha Khalid

Hi my name is Zoha Khalid! I am currently a 5th year student in the Doctorate of Pharmacy program at St Johns University. After I graduate, my goal is to pursue clinical pharmacy and do my residency specializing in pediatric oncology. Being a part of Dr. Agarwal’s research team is an extraordinary endeavor which will help propel my career forward. Alongside our research members, we perform multiple experiments such as MTT assays, cell seeding, and Western Blot which aids us in better understanding neuroblastomas. Every single day is exciting and presents new information and challenges to think harder and apply what we learn to our day-to-day lives. Besides my professional career, some of my hobbies include drawing/painting, playing sports such as volleyball and football as well as lifting heavy weights at the gym. In my free time, I spend time with my family and friends and greatly enjoy traveling and eating new cuisine. All in all, it is a great honor to be a part of this team and I look forward to what is to come next!!
